BETHANY COLLEGE EQUESTRIAN TEAM TO HOST INTERCOLLEGIATE HORSE SHOW

BETHANY, W.Va. – The Bethany College Equestrian Team will host an Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) show at the Peace Point Equestrian Center on Saturday, Nov. 5. The show will include 13 area teams including the University of Pittsburgh and West Virginia University.

The hunt seat equitation show, which is free to the public, is scheduled for 9 a.m., and will continue through the early afternoon. Peace Point is expecting approximately 150 entries to compete in eleven different classes divided by ability and experience.

Jumping classes will take place in the morning and flat classes will follow in the afternoon.

Robert Cacchione, founder and president of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association will be in attendance. The IHSA is an organization that encompasses 29 regions with more than 300 member colleges in 45 states and Canada and represents more than 6,500 riders.
