TWO BETHANY STUDENTS RECEIVE DOMINION SCHOLARSHIPS

BETHANY, W.Va. – Tiffany Lattimer, of Follansbee, W.Va., and Paul McCormick, of Wheeling, W.Va., both students at Bethany College, are the recipients of Dominion Transmission scholarships.

Dominion Transmission's gift of $18,000 provided $1,000 scholarships to 18 West Virginia student-residents attending West Virginia private colleges and universities. They also renewed their membership in the Circle of Vision Scholarship Program, administered by West Virginia Independent Colleges and Universities, Inc. (WVICU). Dominion Transmission has been a member of the Circle of Vision program since 2001 and has been a long-time supporter of WVICU.

Circle of Vision scholarships are earmarked for West Virginia student-residents who demonstrate academic promise and financial need. Recipients must maintain a satisfactory grade-point average throughout the period of scholarship.

Since 1997, the Circle of Vision Scholarship Program has provided more than $2.1 million in scholarship funds to 1,770 West Virginia college students.
