BETHANY, W.Va. – The Bethany College chapter of the Kappa Delta Pi education honor society will host its annual Scholastic Book Fair Nov. 6-8 in the Faculty Lounge at Steinman Hall. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

The Book Fair is used as a fundraiser for events supported by the honor society. Kappa Delta Pi will donate proceeds from this year’s Book Fair to assist with the installation of a new preschool at the College’s Judith R. Hurl Education Center.

The Judith R. Hurl Education Center is located in the former Bethany Primary School. The building will house the Education Department while offering such community-oriented services as a preschool, childcare center and children’s library.

Funding for the building’s purchase from the Brooke County school district was provided earlier this fall by Dr. Rodney Hurl, a 1952 graduate of Bethany College, in honor of his late wife.
