BETHANY, W.Va. — Amy R. Colantoni has joined the staff at Bethany College as the new Director of Student Activities at Bethany College. Her appointment was announced by Dr. Darin Fields, Vice President for Academic Affairs.
As Director of Student Activities at Bethany, Colantoni will have primary responsibility for scheduling social, recreational, cultural and educational programs and campus-wide special events that are designed to boost student engagement and encourage greater involvement in the college community.
“I am pleased to welcome Amy to the staff at Bethany,” stated Dr. Darin E. Fields, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty. “Her enthusiasm and vast range of higher education experience will benefit the college community as a whole.”
Colantoni comes to Bethany after serving as an admissions counselor at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. Prior to becoming an admissions counselor, Colantoni also worked as a graduate assistant in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Akron, a graduate intern the Office of Student Life at The Ohio State University and a graduate assistant in the Department of Dining Services at the University of Akron. She holds a B.A. in Business Organizational Communication-Public Relations and an M.A. in Higher Education Administration, both from The University of Akron in Akron, Ohio.
