On-site medical services provided include, but are not limited to: prevention, evaluation, and treatment of injuries and illnesses; rehabilitation services; pre-participation exams; nutritional counseling; psychological counseling; and drug education and counseling.
The Bethany College Athletic Training Staff is comprised of two full-time, board certified athletic trainers who are committed to providing the highest quality health care to more than 400 student-athletes. As many as 20 student trainers are also on staff throughout the year. The athletic trainers are involved in all aspects which affect the student-athletes’ health, safety, and well-being. They are able to effectively accomplish this through their communication and cooperation with coaches and other medical consultants.
