Bethany Students Perform in State-Wide Choir
Dr. Zach Marshall, Assistant Professor of Music, and four Bethany College students traveled to Charleston, W.Va., for the state convention of the American Choral Director's Association.  The four students participated in the state Collegiate Honor Choir under the direction of Dr. Donald Nally, Director of Choral Organizations at Northwestern University.  The Collegiate Honor Choir gives elite singers from colleges and universities across West Virginia the chance to perform in a combined choir.

The students who represented Bethany in the honor choir were sophomore Jesse Elliott of Hillsboro, Ohio; sophomore Tess Parry of Hillsboro, Ohio; freshman Kvanna Diaz of Weirton, W.Va.; and sophomore Heather Grinkley of Woodbridge, Va. The students were selected to represent Bethany based on their outstanding dedication and leadership in the Bethany College Choir.  While the number of participants for each institution is limited, Dr. Marshall hopes to bring more members of the Bethany College Choir to future conventions.
