At the intersection of peace and preparation lies Bethany, a small college of national distinction, located on 1,300 rolling acres in the foothills of the Allegheny mountains.
The first thing you notice is the natural beauty. Broad lawns, brick walkways and exquisitely manicured flower beds. An institution rich in tradition, with buildings that have found a place in the National Historic Registry. Then, in that moment, you realize the opportunity. Academic excellence across all programs, competition in modern athletic facilities and a gateway to international travel and study.
We’ve been preparing captains of business, luminaries of the arts, leaders in law and medicine, and world-renowned authors for more than 170 years. To learn more download our Viewbook.
Whatever your sport, you’ll be competing at Bethany in a legacy of leadership and tradition. More than one-third of our first-year students participate on one of 22 varsity teams in NCAA Division III. And 51 of our student-athletes found a place on the 2011 President's Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll.
Bethany athletics is more than just on-field success. Like our "Boomers & Books" program where Bethany football team members read to elementary and preschool students.
That’s leadership, and that’s what being a student athlete at Bethany means. To learn more download our Athletics brochure.
