What are Bethany's enrollment standards?

Bethany evaluates every applicant on an individual basis and therefore does not have a designated "cut-off". Last Fall's class had an average GPA of 3.4, ACT of 23 and SAT (m) 520 and SAT (v) 525. We have a very strong student body that is represented by students on both sides of these averages.

How many students attend Bethany?

Approximately 830 students attend Bethany College. An excellent student-teacher ratio of 14:1 provides opportunity for plenty of discussion and interaction in the classroom.

Where is Bethany located?

Bethany's 1,300-acre campus is located in the northern panhandle of West Virginia in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains. Pittsburgh is 39 miles to the northeast. In addition, Wheeling, W.Va.; Washington, Pa.; and Steubenville, Ohio are within a half-hour's drive of the College.

What are Bethany's graduate school placement rates?

Approximately 40 to 45 percent of Bethany graduates pursue advanced degrees immediately after graduation. Bethany graduates experience a 90 to 100 percent acceptance rate to graduate school.
