The Bethany's Office of Career Counseling and Placement (OCCP) proactively provides and encourages the use of the full spectrum of career services - from helping underclassmen to select/confirm their major area of study to helping upperclassmen to find, select, be hired for internships, summer jobs, and career positions and to become successful in their chosen career fields. Though primarily for current students at Bethany College, the OCCP also provides similar career services to Bethany College alumni upon their requests for assistance.
To accomplish this goal, the OCCP tries to maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date Career Resources Center, equipped with career planning literature, job announcements, material on internships and graduate and professional school information. The goal of the OCCP is to help each Bethany College student and requesting alumni in all areas of career services.
The Office coordinates off-campus and on-campus recruiting. Free credential service is available to all students and alumni who register with the Office.
