BETHANY, W.Va. – Bethany College’s Faculty Friday series was launched in an effort to connect current and prospective students, staff, and alumni with our distinguished faculty members, who are actively involved in the betterment of our students and institution, both inside and outside of the classroom.
We would like to introduce our third spotlight- Director of Graduate Studies, Dr. Jeff Bryson! Bryson says, “Bethany is home for me.” To get to know Bryson better, read his Q&A below:
Q: What additional positions or involvement do you have at Bethany or outside of Bethany?
A: I am also the Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice.
Q: What is your educational background?
A: BA in Bible and Religion (Ohio Valley College), MAR in Counseling (Harding School of Theology), Ph.D. in public safety (criminal justice)(Capella University)
Q: Why should prospective students pursue a degree in social work?

A: There is nothing so rewarding as working with young adults and being a part of their life journey.
