BETHANY, W.Va. – The Professional Image Center at Bethany College is accepting donations of clean and gently used professional attire in preparation for the upcoming job interview season.
The Professional Image Center allows Bethany students to pick out interview and work-placement attire at no cost.
The center opened in 2015 as a partnership between the Office of Career and Professional Development and the Kalon Scholars in response to a student need for professional and business-casual clothing.
Amy VanHorn, director of the Career and Professional Development Center, said demand for items spiked this semester during Bethany’s first Career Week, which included alumni and student networking dinner. January comprehensive exams also drew several students to Professional Image Center, commonly referred to as the Career Closet.
