Think about the possibilities with a psychology degree.
The department offers both bachelor of arts and bachelor of science degrees in psychology. The B.A. is designed to prepare you for entry level jobs in psychology and for graduate programs focused on therapy, or counseling. The B.S. is designed to prepare you for graduate programs in physical or occupational therapy, or for psychology research based on graduate programs.
If you are interested in graduate education, consider pursuing dual or double majors. The following dual and double majors can be completed in four years, provided you declare early and follow the curriculum plan. Pursue the dual major in psychology and social work if you are interested in therapy or counseling; consider a double major in psychology and sports studies if you are interested in sport psychology; and consider a double major in psychology and biology if you are interested in physical or occupational therapy.
