BETHANY, W.Va. – Bethany College on Friday launched a weekly outreach program that allows students to interact with faculty and staff in casual environment.

Feel Good FridayFeel Good Friday will run weekly through the end of the fall semester with a different office responsible for manning tables outside Morlan Hall.

“The goal of Feel Good Fridays is to provide departments across campus an opportunity to connect with and get to know students they might otherwise not have contact with,” said Lori Weaver, vice president of institutional advancement.

Dozens of students stopped by and chatted with staff from the Office of Alumni and Institutional Advancement.

“I like free stuff,” was a common refrain as students picked up Bethany water bottles, keychains, bracelets, and popcorn from Mmm … Popcorn in Wheeling.

The outreach for upcoming Fridays will be hosted by Student Life, the TW Philips Memorial Library, the McCann Learning Center, and Bison Athletics.
