BETHANY, W.Va. — Bethany College will host author, speaker and therapist Heidi Schreiber-Pan for a webinar on relieving stress and anxiety during difficult times as part of its Bethany Connect Speaker Series.
The webinar is at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, via Zoom. Schreiber-Pan will present skills and exercises to help with self-care during times of stress.
Schreiber-Pan is the clinical director of Chesapeake Mental Health Collaborative in Towson, Md., founder of the Center for Nature Informed Therapy, and author of “Taming the Anxious Mind: A Guidebook to Relieve Stress and Anxiety.”
She holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in clinical counseling and applied psychology from Loyola University, Md., where she is an affiliate faculty member at Loyola University, Maryland. Her research includes resiliency and psychological well-being, including nature-based mental health.
The Bethany Connect Speaker Series features college faculty, distinguished alumni and accomplished professionals for discussions on timely topics.
